Zinpro/Anderson Foundation - Mona Foundation Distinguished Partner

Zinpro and the Anderson Foundation have chosen Mona Foundation as their trusted international arm of giving for the past several years, and have generously supported our mission and work with unrestricted annual grants.

About Zinpro: More than 45 years ago, Zinpro Corporation pioneered the research and development of organic trace minerals to improve animal wellness and performance. As a family-owned, privately-held company, our steady growth has come as a result of quality products, quality people and a focus on one thing: trace mineral nutrition. Today, the company has regional sales offices located in nine countries and markets its products in more than 70 countries worldwide. For more information plase visit https://zinpro.com.

I am proud to be associated with Mona and I  think that Mona Foundation has  excellent leadership, is extremely ethical and a financially responsible charity, and the people here are just, in my opinion, the best that we’ve seen.  And so when you work with Mona, you know that whatever you do – whether it is ten dollars or a million dollars – that you are going to get the most possible benefit.

Mike Anderson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zinpro.

Cotopaxi

In March 2021, Cotopaxi formed a long-term nonprofit Grant Partnership with the Mona Foundation. The Cotopaxi major grant program encompasses a selection of carefully vetted non-profit grantees who showcase sustainable, tangible work in alleviation of global poverty and improving the human condition.

About Cotopaxi: Cotopaxi is an outdoor gear brand and Benefit Corporation with a social mission. With two storefronts and a strong ecommerce platform, and employing over 80 staff members, we design, manufacture, and sell packs, water bottles, apparel, and gear, raising awareness and funds for various humanitarian causes through the Cotopaxi Foundation. For more information please visit https://www.cotopaxi.com/pages/about.

Anyone can sign a check. But successfully fighting poverty requires careful stewarding of the Cotopaxi Foundation’s philanthropic funds towards partners with proven and traceable programs. After an intensive review process, Mona Foundation quickly demonstrated qualities that convinced our leadership of the organization’s ability to close the gender gap and eliminate poverty. We’re honored to partner with Mahnaz and her team.

Trilogy International

Trilogy has been a major supporter of Mona Foundation efforts in the past several years and continues to sponsor our major activities through their wise advice and generous contributions.

About Trilogy International: A wireless telecommunications operator formed in 2005 by industry veterans, Trilogy establishes foundations in all of its operations as part of a comprehensive corporate social responsibility philosophy focused on education and community support. trilogy-international.com.

When I looked at Mona it was almost it was custom designed for what we were doing.  The fact that Mona finds and works with existing organizations in the countries really makes a difference. There is no need to recreate the wheels…and in terms of being a very efficient use of funds, it is a very smart way to go about things.  The other thing that resonates well is their focus on girls. We have found through our own initiatives that the girls as they grow and become the nucleus of their families, they are much more entrepreneurial and they continue to invest in their entrepreneurial pursuits and that I think has an incredible positive impact on the community.
