Mr. Houshang Sanai Memorial Fund

Mr. Houshang Sanai was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother whose life was defined by faith and responsibility. As the oldest of seven children, he came to the United States before the 1979 revolution in Iran and took on the profound responsibility of caring for his family, including his two younger sisters.

A steadfast Bahá’í, he lived in a manner that beautifully reflected his beliefs, always striving to do what was right regardless of the personal cost. He was known for his upright character and deep love for his family, and his legacy of generosity, integrity, and compassion continues to inspire all who knew him.

Reflecting his profound belief in the power of education to uplift lives, his legacy shines on through the school which was built and established in Sierra Leone in his memory by his loving wife, Ziba Sanai, and his daughters, Mitra Sanai and Samira Sanai.

Those who knew him continue to share stories of how he quietly stepped in during their times of need, leaving an enduring imprint of kindness on countless hearts.
