Ali and Rouha Tavangar Memorial Endowment Fund

Dr. Ali and Mrs. Rouha Tavangar were both born in Najafabad, a small town in Iran in 1915 and 1929, respectively. Their love of learning propelled them to pursue their education wherever possible.  Mr. Tavangar earned a doctorate degree in literature from the University of Tehran and Mrs. Tavangar graduated from a teacher training school in Esfahan.


They dedicated their lives to teaching children and young adults and to serving humanity.


Mr. and Mrs. Tavangar are remembered by their family and friends as wise, kind, humble, and gentle souls, with a deep commitment to social justice and the principle of oneness of humanity.
