Keith Albert Gehrig Memorial Endowment Fund

Keith Gehrig was a man of many talents, generosity, and heart. Born in Arcadia, California, and later making his home in Washington, Keith lived a life dedicated to creativity and service. He was a leader in the square dancing community, serving as President of Puddletown Squares and contributing to IAGSDC with passion and vision. His artistry extended far beyond dance—he was a lighting designer, director, craftsman, brewer, singer, dancer, and producer, leaving his mark on countless creative endeavors.

Keith’s commitment to making the world a better place was evident in his work with Mona Foundation, where he served as Executive Account Manager starting in 2015 and continuing on till the very last days of his life. Through this role, he championed education and empowerment for children and women globally.  His work ethics was exemplary.  He showed up every morning at 8AM without fail and insisted that he continue with his work even through his last days of his life while battling health issues. “Mona is the reason I wake up every morning,” he said many times.

Keith will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the nobility of his soul, joy and compassion he brought to everyone around him. His legacy in support of education and community transformation will live on in perpetuity through the Keith Albert Gehrig Memorial Endowment he has established at the Mona Foundation.
