Stephanie is a program manager at Amazon, where she manages a fulfillment network. A Seattle native, she received a bachelors from University of Washington in medical anthropology and global health and sociology, and a masters in sociology with a statistics emphasis. Her concentration was in food access in urban areas and subsequent health outcomes. She gets excited about finding data-driven solutions to complex problems, especially solutions that have a social impact.
Stephanie and her husband Ben learned about Mona at the 2017 Gala event and have been involved ever since. She is passionate about empowering young women and girls. Her wish is for girls to never feel like there is anything that they can’t do. In her free time, Stephanie loves creating meals to share with family and friends over a bottle of wine.
The emphasis Mona places on girls’ education is very inspiring to me. Its focus on grassroots efforts that are culturally specific also resonates with me. Mona is making a sustainable difference to improve the lives of individuals and their communities. It makes me feel honored to be affiliated with the organization.
