Seattle Chapter member
Parisa was born and raised in Iran, where she was denied the opportunity to pursue a higher education because of being a member of the Baha’i faith. With much struggle, she moved to the US in 1985 to pursue an advanced degree. After receiving a Doctor of Pharmacy in 1991, she worked as a pharmacist for 16 years before opening the Lotus Laser and Spa, a medical spa in the Seattle area.
With a passion for serving her community, Parisa donates a portion of her clinic’s proceeds to charitable organizations. She chose to primarily support the Mona Foundation because of her deep conviction that education empowers and provides security to people, especially women and girls.
Parisa lives in Mercer Island, Washington with her husband and two daughters. She has taught her daughters that, to be truly successful in life, they need to be kind and compassionate and make a difference in the world by serving their community and humanity at large.
