Désirée is an attorney and entrepreneur in New York. She is a Co-Founder at Lazeez, a paleo baking company with a mission to empower women and build healthy communities through food. Previously, she was Deputy General Counsel and Head of Legal and Compliance for North America at Third Bridge, a primary research provider to the global investment community. Désirée holds a B.C.L and L.L.B. from McGill University Faculty of Law and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University.

Désirée has held international speaking engagements with Ethical Business Building the Future on themes of Corporate Social Responsibility and Capacity Building, and worked on projects for the International Labor Organization and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. She creates spaces for women to engage in meaningful conversations and works to raise awareness about menstrual inequity through her professional and personal endeavors.

Désirée seeks to empower women and girls and create opportunities for their economic and spiritual advancement.
