What started as a kindergarten in the carport of a trailer home, now educates 396 K-12 students and 57% are girls. Right now, what they need most is funding for their arts and music programs, all for $1,200.
When I was growing up and going to school, music and arts programs were a big part of the experience and a critical component for developing key skills, making friends and having a fully enriched education.
I am hosting this campaign for Badi to ensure they have what they need to continue with their great arts and music program.
Badi School started in 1993 as a kindergarten in the carport of a trailer home. The school is now a K-12 school serving more than 400 students, of whom 57% are girls, and is recognized for excellence in academics, arts, music and technology programs impacting the lives of thousands in the neighboring communities.

We support grassroots initiatives that provide education to all children, increase opportunities for women and girls, and emphasize service to the community.
The schools that we support serve marginalized communities globally. They focus on academic excellence, fine arts and character education to develop capable, ethical, and altruistic leaders who contribute to the betterment of their families, communities, and ultimately their nation. In 2017 we supported the education of 258,000 students, teacher and parents in 18 projects in 10 countries.
