Background

Who We Are

The sunflower—resilient, bright—it grows toward the sun. Like a child reaching for the future, it is our hope. Hope and future are the mission and purpose of Sunflower Mission.

Sunflower Mission is a 501(c)3 organization committed to improve the lives of the people in Vietnam, mainly through educational assistance programs. We are an U.S.-based, non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization.

What We Do

We make significant improvements in the lives of the students and communities that we served in Vietnam. We achieve the highest rates of students graduating elementary and high school education. We form strong and trusting bonds with the students, faculty, and local community leadership. Our students become successful volunteers, teachers, and leaders.

As we strive to make significant differences in the lives of Vietnamese youth, we will reach our goals by being focused, dedicated, and through the generosity of like minded individuals and organizations, we are committed that "for every dollar raised, at least 97 cents will go toward the cause of elevating the education level of the children in Vietnam". This is the highest measurement of integrity and efficiency and the best way to demonstrate our gratitude for the trust people have in Sunflower Mission and its objective.
