Ruaha Secondary School
Development Plan
20-Year Goals in Four Phases
This plan detail has been developed by Ben Hufford, on behalf of the Yost Grube Hall Architecture Firm, from his site visit in February 2006. Ben served as a volunteer architect to survey the campus and learn of Ruaha's needs.
At present Ruaha offers a 4 year Ordinary-Level program as well as a two-year Advanced-Level program for two subject combinations – History-Geography-Language and History-Geography-Economics.
Ruaha envisions a steady expansion over the next 20 years (in four 5-year phases) to include adding:
1 – Two more Advanced level combinations during the next five years
2 – A Learning Resource Center
3 – A Primary/Nursery School
4 – A Teachers’ College for preparation of Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary level
teachers during future plans
The college has a 34 Hectare campus. Here is the layout of the full campus.
