Women as the Way Forward? Yes!

Imagine a world free of hunger, poverty and war...

Just last month at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Nick Kristof moderated the first ever public meeting focused on women’s leadership – “Women as the way forward.” UN Women Executive Director Michelle Bachelet participated in the panel, stating “Investing in girls and women is not only the right thing to do; it is also the smart thing to do.” She went on to explain, “I believe that if women and men had the same opportunities and participation in leadership, the world would have less hunger, less poverty, and it would be more peaceful and more equal and balanced.”

Mona Foundation is committed to promoting gender equality and ensuring that girls around the world have access to a quality education, that's why we support projects like Ruaha Secondary School in Tanzania and Barli Institute in India. We firmly believe that focusing on these principles in our mission will lead to a world that is free of hunger, misery and war for all of our children.

If you agree, help spread the word and share this. This dream for humanity will be realized sooner rather than later with the help of people like you and your friends!
