I loved this site because it was created by two fourth graders, and it is made for other fourth graders. It includes lesson plans and activities for improvement of math skills, it also contains links to other sites that the children have rated for usability. No date listed that specificied currency, but seems to be current.

AIMS is a project funded by the National Science Foundation at Fresno Pacific College. It was developed by classroom teachers and faculty for educators of K-12. The intent is to help educators integrate math and science. The site included some puzzles, and LOTS of links. The lessons are available through subscription to the magazine.

It is great because it is a site filled with games, flashcards and activities, (including practice worksheets) to help kids improve in their math skills. This site is run by the EDC, and are dedicated to improving education world wide, this is their math site. It is geared toward all ages, it includes lesson plans, and it is clear and easy to use. It does not contain links to other sites and does not have a date listed, but again, seems to be updated often.

This site was created and is maintained by the learning network. It's designed mostly for elementary level kids, thus appears very kid-friendly. Kids can search for and play math games online. Teachers can use this site for the variety of math quizzes and activities that it has. Overall, it is a very fun math site for kids to explore.

Includes ideas and tips for teachers on how to teach math concepts, as well as a monthy newsletter. Kids can view and publish math art in the Art Gallery. This site is so fun and colorful, kids will love it!

This site is designed mostly for older children, ages 5th grade through middle school. It is a site designed to help coach kids preparing for math competitions, It includes activities and ideas that kids can use to help their math skills. It also includes a problem of the week that is updated every week. It contains links to other useful sites and the dates are June, 1999 to present. It would be a good site for ideas in helping keep gifted children challenged.

This site is developed by a veteran teacher and the purpose is to provide teachers and students with interactive math lessons. There is a section for parents, students and teachers. There are many valuable math lessons & worksheets included, as well as newsletter for parents and teachers.
