This curriculum will allow our schools to offer Information Technology Certification programs. The full curriculum includes these IT skills: Computer fundamentals, Database fundamentals, Digital Media fundamentals, Internet and WWW fundamentals, Presentation fundamentals, Spreadsheet fundamentals, Web design fundamentals, and Word processing fundamentals. Besides these sequential learnings, Microsoft® has a site with several specific 30-50 minute long modules on specific aspects of each of the Microsoft® products. 2004 Los Angeles Events Touch the Heart
Ferial Sami, who with her husband established the pre-school that led to what ADCAM is today, recently came to the Los Angeles area. She met with about 100 women at a luncheon reception, arranged by Sima Mobini and Diane Samandi, to share the ADCAM story. The story of how an orphanage grew into a K-12 school, a teacher training college, and a 4-year Technology Institute touches the heart. Upon hearing the story, several women, with tears in their eyes, offered full year scholarships for the students. Very soon after this event, contributions began to stream in. The amount rose to $10,000 for scholarships for the ADCAM students.
